Gap Plantation for Soil conservation
In June, 2024, planting of 15 acres gap planting was conducted in approximate 14°44'35.00"N, 98°10'45.00"E in Michaunglaung LOU of TNR in June 2024. In this plantation, Total of 8100 native species saplings were grown namely, Xylia xylocarpa (5000), Thitsho(1000), thingan(500),kadut(500), Kanyin (500).

Construction of check dams to prevent soil erosion
To prevent soil erosion, 2 check dams of (25 ft x 2 ft x 5 ft ) were constructed in 14° 44' 33"N, 98° 10' 15"E and 14° 44' 34"N, 98° 10' 22"E Michaunghlaung and Mayanchaung LOUS along service track in January 2024.

Water quality test of drinking water sources in cooperation with Forest Research Institute
In Zinba Creek in Tanintharyi Nature Reserve Project area which the local people in the project area depend on for drinking water, approximate map point - 14° 38' 39.42" N, 98° 11' 2.38"E) and Dawei river approximate map point 14° 42' 21.46"N, 98° 8' 19.57" E), the content of 10 kinds of heavy metals and 12 kinds of pesticides were tested. In August, water samples were collected from the above mentioned locations and sent to the Water Quality Laboratory at the Forestry Research Institute, Yezin.
According to laboratory test findings, the levels of heavy metals detected in water samples from the Dawei River and Zinba Creek do not exceed the permissible limits set by the WHO Drinking Water Quality Standards and Myanmar's National Drinking Water Quality Standards. The Forest Research Department assessed that these water bodies are not polluted by the specified heavy metals and remain in good environmental condition.

Establishment of peace forest
By negotiation with ethnic group, 15 acres of peace forest plantation was established at 14° 54' 16.00"N, 98° 5' 34.00"E of Yaphu LOU of the project area.
