Forest Cover Assessment
Forest cover assessment in the Tanintharyi Nature Reserve project area is conducted using satellite imagery and remote sensing technology, implemented by the GIS Section of the Forest Department's Planning and Statistics Division.
In 2023, forest cover status assessment for the Tanintharyi Nature Reserve Project was successfully conducted using Landsat 8 OLI satellite imagery.
