Boundary pillar construction

For effective management and conservation of Nature reserve, boundary pillars (Pillars number-119,144,164 to173) were prepared and installing and maintenance of signboards were conducted in the areas of Migyaunglaung, Yebon, Alasakhant, Yaphu in the fiscal year 2023 2024. 

In the fiscal year 2024-2025, 5 boundary pillars of Nature Reserve were repaired in the areas of Migyaunglaung, Yebon and Thetkekwen and 10 boundary pillars were repaired at the boundary of community forest area of Migyaunglaung CF, Zinbar (3) CF and Thetkekwen CF.

Conducting Assisted Natural Regeneration

To conserve and improve tropical hardwood forest and promotion of community based forest conservation, 100 acres of Assisted Natural Regeneration including surveying sample plots, improvement felling, and climber cutting, pruning and cleaning operations was performed in cooperation with Yepone Community Forest User Group in Yepone LOU.
