Education talks about protection of wildlife, biodiversity and environmental conservation

In order to raise awareness for environmental conservation, knowledge sharing about forest, biodiversity and environmental conservation was conducted to the 15 school teachers and about 350 students from Dahmmapala Dahmma School in Gantgawtaung Village of Yephyu Township where Park Warden office of the project based in January 2024.

Strengthen firefighting capacity through training and providing equipment and facilities

In order to protect and control wild fire, wild fire control training was conducted with demonstration and equipment including battery water spray, plastic water bucket, rake and broom were supported to 20 households from Yaphu, Michaunghlaung, Yepone and Thetkelkwat villages in Jaunary 2024.

Raise awareness of the community about adverse impacts of fire and get them involved in preventing and combating fire outbreaks

In cooperation with Kaleinaung Fire Service Department, education for fire control and hand on practice for wild fire extinguishing or fighting were conducted twice to 20 CF members from Zinbar, Old Michaunghlaung, Yepone and Thetkelkwat in Jaunary 2024.
