Nursery operation
In the rainy season of 2024, a total of 2,572 seedlings (2,320 trees species, 242 cash crop, and 10 native species) were distributed to (3) community forest groups, other (5) villages and partner companies and relevant departments. In order to carry out forest conservation activities and distribution of Seedlings for the public, 22,000 seedlings of Pyinkado (Xylia xylocarpa) were sown in Michaunglaung permanent nursery.

Distribute Seedlings
During the 2024 rainy season, 22,000 native forest tree saplings and 1,000 cash crop saplings were distributed to local communities, community forest user groups, ethnic organizations, partner companies and related departments. This initiative aimed to enhance forest coverage and environmental greening within the project area and strengthen conservation awareness among local communities.Furthermore, under the Tanintharyi Natural Reserve Project, plans are in place to propagate and distribute 50,000 forest tree saplings and 5,000 cash crop saplings during the 2024-2025 fiscal year, continuing efforts to promote reforestation and community livelihoods.

Distribution of Cash Crops
During the 2024 rainy season, a total of 1,000 cash crops saplings including 150 durian, 300 mango, 450 rambutan, and 100 lime trees were procured from the Aung Zabu Garden Nursery Sales Shop in Michaunglaung Village, Yaphyu Township. to distribute local communities within the project area for socio-economic development of local people.

To support the preservation of native tree species, two temporary nurseries were constructed, and 17,000 l saplings from previous years were transplanted into 8"x6" nursery bags.
