The 10th Technical Committee Meeting of the Tanintharyi Nature Reserve Project, organized by the Forest Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, was held at 9:30 AM on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025.The meeting was conducted using a hybrid system at Meeting Hall (2) of the Forest Department's Director General's Office.The Chairman and members of the Technical Committee, members of the Operational Management Plan (OMP) Phase VI formulation team, and project staff attended the meeting in person. Technical Committee members from partner companies joined via the online system.
The session featured a video documentary showcasing the project’s operational milestones for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. Following the screening, the Project Director presented a detailed report on fund expenditures through the end of November 2024, highlighting work targets, completed activities, and future work plans. Additionally, Deputy Director Dr. Win Maung Aye, representing the OMP VI formulation team, explained the current progress of the Operational Management Plan VI and outlined the upcoming phases for its finalization. The meeting concluded with an interactive session where attendees engaged in collective discussions and provided constructive recommendations for the project’s continued implementation.
