The Tanintharyi Nature Reserve Project engages both local and international technical advisory teams annually to ensure:

(1) Timely project completion 
(2) Alignment with community needs 
(3) Staff capacity building

The external technical advisors: 

(1) Study international standards for biodiversity conservation 
(2) Recommend suitable management methods for the reserve 
(3) Identify necessary research activities

For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the project has appointed Friends of Wildlife (FOW) as the technical advisory group following standard procurement procedures.
