In order to protect the biodiversity in Tanintharyi Nature Reserve and to obtain information on biodiversity, the patrols (3 nights and 4 days) are being implemented. In the fiscal year 2024 2025, 4 patrols(longs) and 30 patrols (short) were carried out at Migyaunglaung, Kyaukshat, Yebon and Thetkekwen LOU area.Moreover, 3 patrols were carried out in collaboration with the Forest Department depending on the threats. 

Mobile patrolling focusing in Hotspot area

Surprise inspection was conducted in illegal timber production hotspot area along service track in January 2024. As the patrolling with carried out from 08:00 AM to 16:00 PM, any illegal timber production and wildlife trade were not found during inspection time.
